MARINE SURVEYING

M/S DS Marine Engineers & Surveyors team consists of Chief Engineers, Masters, Naval Architects and Marine Engineers with years of experience at sea and ashore as Technical Managers or Engineer Superintendents and thereafter as Surveyors with M/S DS Marine Engineers & Surveyors. We at DSMEAS maintain a network of cargo surveyors around India, China & Middle East with coverage of all ports within a reasonable distance from their locations. This enables us to have fast response for claims and follow up visits at a reasonable cost to our clients.

Pre-purchase and P&I or Hull surveys are performed by engineer surveyors who are usually sent from Mumbai. Yacht and Small craft inspections are performed by specialist surveyors with appropriate training and experience. Surveyors are specially selected for each job having the required experience and knowledge.

o  Dry Dock Supervision for Inland Vessel:

(A) Preliminary Survey: to be carried out when Vessel is brought to yard for dry dock repairs. To check the hull and to provide the estimate.

(B) During Dry-docking: to visit while repairs are carried out. (weekly report)

(C) Final Survey: to be carried out after completion of repairs and before Vessel leaves the yard. (Final Report)
